Get ready for a wonderful program where you will both relax and experience discovery in Samos, one of the most enjoyable islands of the Aegean.
Day 1 | Departure from Kuşadası – Vathy Discovery
We meet at 07:30 at Kuşadası Port (Scala Nuova). After completing our passport procedures, we depart at 08:30 with a fast ferry and reach Samos Island’s central Vathy Port after about 45 minutes of pleasant sea journey. On some dates, our guide may meet you at Samos Port to join the tour from there.
(Our passengers joining from Seferihisar will be met by our guide at Samos port.)
To expedite the process for guests who will get a door visa, we recommend sitting close to the door on the ferry.
Our check-in time at the hotels is 15:00, but depending on availability, earlier check-in to our rooms can be arranged.
In the afternoon, we meet at the designated spot by our guide at 16:00 and start getting to know Vathy with our guide. During our approximately an hour and a half walking tour, we begin to explore Vathy. Throughout this enjoyable walking tour, we receive information from our guide about the rich history of the island, the local culture of daily life, the lifestyle of the local people, its charming cafes, tasty restaurants, and entertainment spots. While wandering through the narrow streets, we witness both the past and the present spirit of Samos up close.
During our walk, we will see the only Catholic Church on the island that is currently abandoned. This structure, with its silence and mystical atmosphere, becomes one of our special stops that sheds light on the multicultural past of the island.
Then, we reach Aslanlı Square, which is known as the heart of the city and the oldest actively used city square in Samos. Here, we see the lion statue which is the symbol of the square and discover the historical surroundings. The Municipality Building and the Archaeology Museum that are located around the square are important structures that carry significant traces of the island's history.
In the last part of our tour, we complete our tour at the monument of Themistocles Sofoulis, who is considered one of the important figures of modern Greek history and the first president of Samos. At this meaningful point, we take commemorative photos and engrave the history and culture of Vathy into our memories.
In your remaining free time, you can sit in cafes overlooking Vathy, take a walk along the beach, or enjoy the sea.
In the evening, one of the best reflections of the island’s spirit awaits you. Our extra organized Taverna Night allows us to have fun in a pleasant atmosphere accompanied by live Greek music. The menu offered during the night includes unlimited uzo and wine. Guests who wish can get recommendations from our guide to continue the night’s entertainment at different venues.

Day 2 | Big Island Tour
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we meet at the harbor at 09:30 and set off to explore the island. During our tour, we first panoramic view the Vathy region, getting general information about the settlement of the island.
Then, we turn our route to one of the most photogenic spots of the island, Kokari. After our guide gives us information and shows us around the area, we are offered free time here. Guests can enjoy the turquoise sea, walk along the beach, or take great photos of postcard-like views.
Our next stop is Pythagorion, known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras. During our tour in this area, which captivates with its historical texture and coastal atmosphere, we tour with our guide and learn about Samos Castle, the Transfiguration Church, and the famous Blue Street. After a short walk in the harbor area, we take a photo break in front of the Pythagoras Monument.
We then offer free time for a pleasant meal break at the region’s most popular restaurants by the sea. You can have the opportunity to sample fresh seafood and the flavors of Greek cuisine.
On the return trip, we take a short shopping break at Lidl, one of Europe’s largest chain stores. Here you can find both reasonably priced products and local tastes.

Day 3 | Return from Samos to Kuşadası
(Optional Boat Tour Opportunity)
After breakfast, we check out of our rooms. You can leave your luggage at the hotel and enjoy the last moments of the island until the ferry time.
For interested guests, an Optional Private Boat Tour is organized, offering an unforgettable experience. Departing from Vathy Harbor with our boat, which can accommodate a maximum of 20 people, we enjoy a pleasant 4-hour blue cruise with swimming breaks in inaccessible coves.
At our return time, we meet at the harbor for passport control. After completing our passport processes and shopping at the duty-free shop, we board the ferry and arrive in Kuşadası after about 45 minutes of journey.
