Our instructor Murat immediately noticed that we came with two kids and took extra time to make them feel safe. The boat ride along the Alanya coast was almost as impressive as the dives themselves – winter light on the cliffs and castles, very calm sea, cool air but warm sun. From the deck you could see the water changing color from pale green near the rocks to deep blue further out. Underwater, at around 12–15 meters, the kids were excited to spot schools of small colorful fish and explore around the rocky formations. Lunch on board was simple but fresh, and it was nice to sit upstairs and watch the shoreline while eating. Only small minus: we waited a bit on the pier for other transfers to arrive, so the day started slower than expected. Overall, a very good family day and a relaxed way to enjoy both the scenery and diving in winter.
